1. Who provides BrainRank
BrainRank (brainrank.uk) is provided by Andraz Miklavcic (private individual), Visoko 119 i, 4212 Visoko, Slovenia. Contact: privacy@brainrank.uk.
2. What BrainRank is
BrainRank is an online test of pattern and logic puzzles for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a clinical or official IQ assessment, and you shouldn't use it for any medical, educational, employment or legal decision.
3. The free test
Anyone can take the test without an account. Each completed test is added anonymously to the global ranking, whether or not you pay.
4. The paid result: €2, one time
For a single payment of €2 you get:
- your estimated IQ score and your percentile rank among everyone who has taken the test,
- your score by question type,
- a shareable result card (with no personal information on it),
- an email with your result and a private link back to your result page,
- if you're in the top 100 of all time or the top 10 of the month, the option to add a nickname to the public leaderboard.
The price shown before payment is the total you pay. This is not a subscription. We don't store your card for future charges and will never bill you again. Payment is processed by Stripe.
5. Immediate delivery, cancellation and refunds
Your result is digital content delivered immediately after payment. Before paying, you ask us to deliver it straight away and confirm you understand that the 14-day right of withdrawal ends once it has been delivered.
Even so, if anything goes wrong (you didn't receive your result, you were charged twice, or there was a technical problem), email privacy@brainrank.uk within 14 days with your result link or the email you paid with, and we'll refund you. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
6. About the estimated IQ score
Your estimated IQ score compares your test score with everyone who has taken this test. It is mapped onto a scale with an average of 100 and a standard deviation of 15, limited to 55–145. Because it's relative, it can shift as more people take the test, especially in the early days. We make no promise that it matches the result of any professional test.
7. Leaderboard nicknames
Nicknames are optional and must be 3–20 letters, numbers or underscores. They must not be offensive, impersonate anyone, or contain contact details or links. We may remove any nickname that breaks these rules. You can remove yours at any time from your result page.
8. Fair use
Please don't use bots or scripts to take the test, copy the questions, or manipulate the rankings. We may remove results or nicknames that appear automated or abusive.
9. Liability
BrainRank is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
